The SW Lakewood Neighborhood Bible Study is a Non-Denominational group of Christians from a variety of backgrounds who gather once a week to study the Bible. The group had an interest in learning about the Old Testament connections to Jesus and the New Testament Scriptures, so they asked Michael to lead the discussion time.

From April to September 2021, he took the group through the first five chapters in the Gospel of Matthew. In these studies, Michael taught from the notes of the sermons he delivered at The Front Range Messianic Community years ago. Each teaching had eye-opening moments and exciting revelations that some in attendance had never considered.
